JOP Had the pleasure of photographing the festivities at Crawfete again this year! CrawFête is a gourmet crawfish festival hosted by The Baton Rouge Epicurean Society (BRES) & Mockler Beverage Company.
There were 15 chefs from Baton Rouge’s finest restaurants that prepared gourmet crawfish dishes complimented with the craft beers, wines & spirits of Mockler Beverage Company. The event also featured live entertainment, an auction filled with several epicurean items and an awards ceremony!
There were Crawfish dishes from Acme Oyster House, Alexander's Market, Bin 77 Bistro & Wine, Culinary Productions, Cupcake Allie, Galatoire's Bistro, Juban's Restaurant, Latil's Landing at Houmas House Plantation, Louisiana Culinary Institute, Mestizo's Restaurant, Reed's Cakes & Catering, Restaurant IPO, Sammy's Grill Catering, Stroube's Seafood & Steaks, Sullivan's Steakhouse and Triumph Kitchen.
Proceeds from CrawFête and all BRES events benefit local childhood health & nutrition programs. We had a blast documenting this event and eating all of the yummy food! We can't wait for next year!
